I'd like to see our city habe some decent bookstores like Barnes & Noble, what about some nifty shops, or hey what about some cool eating places...what about sidewalks, better streets, animal friendly dog pound, people friendly city employees...is it possible? What about some decent landscaping? Is any of it possible?

That Mayor and that big house on the Hill. I am sure he has gotten away with stealing funds somhow and hid it. The previous City Manager would surely have looked the other way or been to stupid to know.

Surely you don't think the taxpayers have paid for the Mayor's house?

When you make the money he makes, you can for months while looking for employment, and still make ends meet.

IF you think city funds were spent on his house, request copies of ANYTHING related to it! Believe me, if there was, Sue would have ALREADY done it.

By the way, just wondering, how much it "cost" Garry to REDO his whole house AFTER the car lot business and ORDINCES were CHANGED? Anyone have an idea about that? If you have not seen it, go look at it. Real nice looking job. Probably several THOUSANDS of $$$$$$$$$$$ .......Guess buying a new house "On THE HILL" is not such a big deal now is it? Wink

Actually, there a number of people and issues being investigated at city hall. I know for sure the city secretary is scheduled to meet next week over her handling of the ballot placement procedures. As far as Don Ives....seems to me a job that looks and sounds like his is posted on the City website as being opened and accepting applications...I may be wrong.
