How about I answer your questions myself this time? Nolan is disabled, but does not always use his cane so as not to be an inconvenience all the time. Now, as for my resignation from the P & Z Board, I did recently send letters of resignation to JoBette Muller and Jimmy Burnett. So I find it very interesting that everyone is so up on the current events at city hall. That happens to play into my reasons for resigning. Along with the fact that Nolan and I have received letters containing very derogatory and demeaning comments and personal threats from one or more people who obviously disagree with our views. I choose not to make a game of politics and public responsibility that way. I must do what is best for myself and my family.

Just curious Nolan, but when you mail letters, containing derogatory comments, to yourself, do you use US Postage stamps, or do you just slip them in the mail slot to be picked up later in the day?

not sure who is posting crap about nolan and marla, but I knbow a few things; nolan has used this site to attack anyone who dores not support sue, and I do not for one minute believe white or thompson would attack nolan or marla. I don't think the statement is ignorant. What is ignorant is the fact that someone mailed the letters to Nolan and Marla. BUT, they are not the only ones to receive IGNORANT letters. The same or similar ones went to Mayor Ouzts and others. I do agree with marla about her choice. Family MUST come first.

I thought there was an ordanance against parking 18 wheelers in the city. Am I mistaken? Has that ordanance been changed? I saw an 18 wheeler parked in a parking lot right off White Settlement Rd. Are we supposed to call and report this? Or is it another way that the 3 stooges thumb their noses at the "little people".

Regardless of the nasty comments a few small minded make on this site, the voting citizens have spoken, and the Mayor has won. Also seems like the underhanded illegal things Sue and her little group have been doing will be her downfall as well, at least we can hope. Most of the nasty things I read on here remind me of little elementary school kids trying to bully the others in the school yard in order to make themselves feel big. Grow up! If you feel the need to change things VOTE!

January 2006 - She told all involved that she would not run for city council. She told all signature soilicitors to get the signatures any way they could get them.

March 2006__May 2006 - She led Team Miller to victory in the council race.

May 2006 - She pushed for storm water reform and back tax payments for WSVFF's

May - July 2006 - She pushed for repeal of used car lot ordinances.

July 2006 - Nothing

August 2006 - Nothing

September 2006 - Nothing

October 2006 - Nothing

November 2006 - Nothing

December 2006 - Used car lot ordinances are changed. Back taxes are paid on personal property. Garry Wilson starts a remodel project on his house which appears to be in the 10's of thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

January 2007 - Nothing

February 2007 - Declares her intent to run for re-election to council.

March 2007 - Instructs asst city manager to pay back taxes and tax preparation for certain firemen.

April 2007 - Places campaign ads calling for the end of corruption.

May 2007 - Files campaign finance reports which include verification of illegal activities.

June 2007 - Sent packing for good by voters?
