My dearest family,
It’s a pleasure to introduce my self and to give you birds eye view of who I really am as a person. I am Raffy Roel C. Fuentes, 23 years of age and a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Home Economics. I am currently working as Asst. System Administrator in Toyota.
I am a teacher by profession but even I am not on this field of work yet, however I had practiced my profession for 6 months in a public elementary school as part of my college practicuum. During my practicuum days I handled children aged 8-9 and they were 40 of them in one class and that is not actually yet the normal class population in one classroom because I did have over 40 student population in my other class. We are all aware that children at this age loves to explore and even trying things around them even without adults consent but I believe if they are just well guided they will grow as a person on how we want them to be. At those days that I had with them I always make sure that whatever lessons that they have need to learn would be interesting and it something that they like to listen to and they could work in to. Nonetheless, patience would always be a factor in knowing children well, to make and have a good relationship with them.
Since in my later high school my father taught me to drive a car and for 6 years now most of the time I am driving our own family old car and its because my father is not using it anymore. I could also fix simple car troubleshoot. I had been an active boyscout so I do have knowledge of administering first aid. Playing lawn tennis is my ultimate sport. I am an animal lover especially with dogs and they are part of my life since I was young, currently we are taking good care of two dogs at home. We don’t have separate house for them because our house is our dog’s house as well. Indeed they are really man’s best friend.
Personally, the reason why I want to engage my self in this immersion program as an aupair in Holland, because I want to know by experience on what my life would be in a place where there are different people and its own culture that I have never been used to live with. And ofcourse to have this chance to let you know on how we live life and what kind of people we are as a Filipino.
